instantiationMediaType Vocabulary

instantiationMediaType identifies the general, high level nature of the content of an instantiation. It uses categories that show how content is presented to an observer, e.g., as a sound, text or moving image.


Moving Image: Time-based media material experienced primarily visually, such as motion pictures or video recordings; may also include audio.

Audio: Time-based media material experienced through sound, without a visual component, such as music recordings or radio programs.
